Taurangi Reserve consists of a large active recreation space with sports fields, bounded by informal spaces for the enjoyment of future residents of the Three Kings Development and the wider community.

Boffa Miskell designed the network of proposed reserves and public open spaces of the proposed Three Kings Development. Taurangi Reserve provides a walking and cycling network; active recreation in the form of a sports field; and informal recreation activities such as play, running, walking and relaxation. These are underpinned by a range of technical requirements for the residential development including a water bore, wastewater pump station and green stormwater infrastructure.
